1. Terms of use

BuildBase is a product of Jagodana LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, United States. By using BuildBase, you agree to these terms. These terms govern use of the BuildBase platform, website, documentation, and related services.

2. Services provided

Authentication, billing, email campaigns, workflow automation, and user management in one SDK. Build on BuildBase, ship your product. BuildBase provides infrastructure for building production-ready SaaS applications, including:

• Email, social, magic link, passkey, and API token authentication.
• Subscriptions, trials, credits, usage metering, and invoicing via Stripe.
• Campaign builder with templates, tracking, and compliance tools.
• Event-driven automation with a visual builder and conditional logic.
• Isolated workspaces with independent data, billing, and settings.
• TypeScript SDK with React hooks, components, and server functions.
• User profiles, smart lists, and attribute-based audience segmentation.
• Role-based permissions at the org and workspace level.
• Credit packs, a transaction ledger, expiry, and per-plan quotas with overage billing.
• Plan-tied workspace flags and user flags targeted by user, list or tag.
• Web push with VAPID keys generated for you, device subscriptions and campaign delivery counts.
• Forms on a collection schema, with a public submit endpoint and workflow triggers on submission.
• Blog posts, docs, FAQs, testimonials, and reusable rich-content blocks.
• User growth, email performance, click trends and geographic data.
• Analytics and ad tags configured in the console, installed by the SDK.
• 112 subscribable events with signatures, retries and delivery logs.
• Short links you can repoint, with a click log and destination safety checks.
• Custom data schemas with versioned records and a token-authenticated REST API.
• Slack alerts for signups, payments, and workflow events.
• Image uploads with captured dimensions and public or private URLs.

3. Your account

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Use the platform to build legitimate applications
• Not attempt to compromise or exploit platform systems
• Respect other users of the platform

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BuildBase to:

• Send unsolicited emails (spam) or violate anti-spam laws
• Host, distribute, or link to illegal content
• Attempt to access other organizations' data or accounts
• Use the platform for phishing, fraud, or impersonation
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
• Exceed reasonable usage that degrades service for other users
• Configure tracking tags or server-side conversions without the consent or lawful basis your jurisdiction requires, or send any advertising vendor an email address, phone number, or other directly identifying value in an event parameter

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

5. Data processing

BuildBase processes data on behalf of its customers. When you use the platform to manage your end users' data (authentication, user profiles, email campaigns, form submissions), BuildBase acts as a data processor and you act as the data controller.

Tracking and advertising tags are a three-party arrangement, and it is worth being precise about who is who. You are the controller for the tags you enable and for the events they carry. BuildBase is your processor: we install what you configured and send what you instructed, and nothing more. The advertising and analytics vendors you enable - Google, Meta and the rest - are independent controllers of the data they receive, under their own terms and their own privacy policies. They are therefore your sub-processors rather than ours, and they belong in your privacy notice, not only in ours. The console generates the disclosure paragraph for you from whatever is actually enabled.

Where you ask BuildBase to send conversions to a vendor from our servers, you are instructing us to transmit that data on your behalf, and you confirm you have the consent or other lawful basis to do so. We do not send an event for an end user who refused, and by default we do not send one for an end user who was never asked.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of BuildBase complies with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining necessary consent from your end users. For organizations requiring a Data Processing Agreement, contact [email protected].

6. Service availability

BuildBase strives to maintain high availability but does not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance or improvements may temporarily affect service access.

7. Pricing

For paid plans:

• Current pricing is published on the BuildBase website
• 30 days notice is provided before any price changes take effect
• Plans can be upgraded or downgraded at any time
• Fees are generally non-refundable
• Paid plans include a trial period for evaluation

8. Intellectual property

BuildBase retains ownership of the platform and its tooling. You retain ownership of your data, content, and applications. Your data is used solely to provide the services described in these terms.

9. Privacy and data collection

By using BuildBase, you acknowledge that the platform collects certain data to operate and improve the service. This includes information you provide (such as your name and email) and data collected automatically through analytics and tracking tools.

BuildBase uses third-party services including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Crisp, and Ahrefs. These services may set cookies and collect usage data as described in their respective privacy policies. Crisp powers live chat: in the signed-in console it loads on every page and receives the name and email on your account, so a support reply does not start by asking who you are.

10. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." BuildBase is not liable for damages beyond the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

11. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time. BuildBase reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon account deletion, associated data is removed within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

12. Changes to terms

BuildBase may update these terms at any time. Material changes are communicated via email or in-product notice. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the State of Wyoming, United States.
