Affiliate Program Terms

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, have a valid PayPal account that can receive international payments, and provide accurate contact and tax information. You are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction, including tax reporting.

Set this up before you start promoting. Commissions are paid in USD from the United States, so a PayPal account that cannot accept international payments will fail at payout time - after you have already done the work. Confirm your account can receive them, and that the name on it matches the details you register with us.

2. Commission

You earn 30% recurring commission on qualifying paid purchases referred through your unique affiliate link or promo code. Commission applies to all paid BuildBase Cloud plans and BuildBase Self-Hosted plans, at the price the customer actually pays; current plans and prices are listed on our pricing page. For recurring subscriptions, commission is paid for 12 months from the date of the customer's first paid payment, including auto-renewals and plan upgrades within that period. After 12 months, commissions on that customer's subscription end.

3. Attribution

We use a 30-day cookie window on a last-click basis. If a visitor clicks your affiliate link and completes a paid purchase within 30 days on the same device or browser, the sale is attributed to you. If the visitor later clicks another affiliate's link before purchasing, credit passes to that most recent affiliate.

4. Where to send traffic

Affiliate tracking is loaded across our own domains - our marketing site, our documentation, and the console where customers subscribe. Send traffic to any URL on one of those with your affiliate parameter, for example https://www.buildbase.app/?via=yourhandle. Once the visitor lands with your link, the referral is stored for 30 days and follows them between those sites, so a subsequent purchase - Cloud or Self-Hosted - is credited to you.

Traffic sent to third-party install pages, package registries, or a customer's own self-hosted deployment does not carry affiliate tracking and cannot be attributed after the fact. The referral ID itself is stored as an essential cookie, so it is not subject to a consent choice, but a browser that blocks cookies outright still carries nothing we can credit. 5. Qualifying sales

A commission is earned when a referred customer completes a paid BuildBase purchase after any applicable trial period. Commissions are locked in 30 days after the payment date to account for refunds and chargebacks.

6. Non-qualifying sales

The following do not earn commission:

• Your own purchases or purchases from any account you own or control (self-referrals)
• Purchases from your immediate family or household
• Purchases from any Jagodana LLC or BuildBase employee, contractor, or affiliate entity
• AppSumo lifetime deal (LTD) purchases and other marketplace or bundle deals
• Free plans, trials that do not convert, or subscriptions paid entirely with promotional credits or platform credits
• Purchases made after the 30-day cookie window expires
• Recurring payments made more than 12 months after the customer's first paid payment
• Purchases where no affiliate cookie is present at checkout, including traffic sent to pages that do not carry affiliate tracking and visitors whose browser blocked or cleared the referral cookie before they subscribed

7. Refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks

If a referred customer refunds a payment, cancels within the refund window, or issues a chargeback, the corresponding commission is reversed. Recurring commissions stop the billing cycle the customer cancels. If a customer downgrades, future commissions apply to the new lower plan tier.

8. Payouts

Payments are made via PayPal once your accumulated balance reaches $100. Payouts run monthly on Net 30 terms, approximately 30 days after the close of the calendar month in which the commissions were earned and locked in. You are responsible for all taxes owed on commissions earned.

Your PayPal account must be able to receive international payments in USD before your first payout runs. Any PayPal fees, currency conversion charges, or costs from a rejected or returned payment are yours, and a payout returned because of incorrect or unsupported account details is re-issued on the next cycle rather than immediately.

9. Prohibited promotion methods

You may not:

• Bid on "BuildBase", "buildbase.app", or any misspellings, variations, or confusingly similar terms on paid search platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, or any other paid channel). We use brand-bidding detection. Violations result in reversed commissions and account termination.
• Register domains, subdomains, or social handles containing "buildbase" or confusingly similar terms
• Impersonate BuildBase, Jagodana LLC, or any team member on any channel
• Post affiliate links on coupon aggregators, cashback sites, or unauthorized deal sites
• Use spam, cookie stuffing, iframe redirects, forced clicks, browser extension injection, or other manipulative attribution tactics
• Make false or unverified claims about BuildBase's features, security posture, compliance status, uptime, or performance
• Promote BuildBase in a way that violates the policies of the platform you are using
• Fail to disclose your affiliate relationship where required by law, platform policy, or the FTC (or local equivalent)

10. Content and brand usage

You may use the marketing materials, logos, screenshots, and copy provided in the affiliate dashboard for the purpose of promoting BuildBase. You may not modify the logo, use it in a misleading context, or create derivative products that use BuildBase's brand. All BuildBase trademarks, logos, and copy remain the property of Jagodana LLC.

11. Honest representation

Describe BuildBase accurately based on your actual experience. If you publish reviews, comparisons, tutorials, or benchmarks, they must be truthful and current. We reserve the right to request corrections or removal of content that misrepresents the product, and to withhold commissions on sales generated by materially misleading content.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice via email. We may suspend or terminate your affiliate account without notice if you violate these terms, engage in fraud, or damage the reputation of BuildBase. On termination, any commissions accrued from prohibited activity, fraud, or violation of these terms are forfeited. Legitimately earned unpaid commissions above the $100 threshold will be paid on the next scheduled payout cycle.

13. Changes to the program

We may modify commission rates, cookie windows, payout thresholds, qualifying plan lists, or other program terms with 30 days' notice via email or dashboard notification. Rate changes apply to sales generated after the change takes effect and do not retroactively affect commissions already accrued. Continued participation after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. No employment relationship

Participation in this program does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise relationship between you and Jagodana LLC. You are an independent contractor responsible for your own business decisions, expenses, and taxes.

15. Limitation of liability

Jagodana LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages related to your participation in this program. Our total liability under this agreement is capped at the total commissions owed to you and unpaid at the time of any claim.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
